Update April 2010
Purchased in March 2004 and used it as a daily driver for 2 years, the car was then stored from April 2006. In March 2009 it came out of storage and was exported to Belgium. Standing at i.r.o. 189,000km having been bought with 144k on the clock.
Near term plans are some TLC. Watch this space...
Update December 2014
The restoration is pretty much finished... replaced the passenger side sill completely, fixed rust damage around the windscreen, boot and rear quarter panel. This was followed by a full respray. Replaced all the outside rubber and plastics, as well as headlamp glass, roundels etc.
Side bolster of the driver seat repaired and sourced new original door sill kick plates from Schmiedmann in Denmark. Only thing still missing is the front spoiler.
The wheels have been refurbished and the car is going to be registered again in 2015 so that it can be enjoyed during spring/summer.
Update July 2016
Now with 190,000km on the clock the car has been treated to a new front splitter and an OEM Radio with a lost of other jobs in line to keep it in good condition.
