April 2010 - Update and some history from the current owner

Purchased in 2005 from a customer of Kevin Bird Garages in Iver Lane, Uxbridge. Birds have since carried out all servicing to date however the first job they carried for me was to upgrade the brakes for the track and fit 4pot AP callipers inside the original 17" wheels.

In early 2007 I took the car to Germany, Meuspath near the Nurburgring and had the suspension completely rebuilt with full race suspension including including KW 2 way adjustable coil overs, uniballs, wishbones, wheel bearings, pushrods, trailing arms, drive shafts, steering rack and arms. I had wanted Tom Schirmer to carry out the work but he retired and Jaco Velders carried out the work at Stephan Manhellers garage. Since the work was carried out a number of professional drivers and coaches, including Sabine Shmidt and Don Palmer, have commented very favourably on the set up.

The engine is original and has 180k on the clock.

  • 2009 February - Full Milltek Exhaust & Stage 2 remap by Thorney Motorsport.
  • 2010 August to Present - Serviced, Maintained and under body protection by TMS, Knaresborough; body refurbishment by Chris Gregory Knaresborough.
  • 2014 June - Set up analysis, removal and testing of dampers, springs and ARB rates, set for road use and occasional trackday use. By Cornering Force Ltd, Harrogate.
  • 2014 August - Supply and fit Eibach springs, make and fit drop links and end plates for damper/ roll bar set up. By Cornering Force, Harrogate.
